Products Description
Material advantages
High-purity steel
The rolling elements of caterpillar slewing bearings are made of high-purity bearing steel and undergo multiple heat treatments, resulting in strong impact resistance.
Gear grinding process
The gears are machined using a grinding process, achieving a tooth pitch accuracy of GB5 grade, resulting in good transmission smoothness.
Accurate adaptation
The mounting holes are machined using CNC drilling, with the hole diameter tolerance controlled within ±0.02mm, ensuring precise fit.
Sealing and protection
The groove of the sealing element is precision milled, which ensures a high degree of fit with the sealing element and good protective effect.
High temperature resistance
The rolling cage of the caterpillar slewing bearing is made of reinforced nylon, which is heat-resistant and has a low coefficient of friction.
Strict verification
The finished product undergoes rigorous dimensional verification, with radial runout error controlled within 0.1mm.

Select the appropriate slewing bearing for your excavator

Define load requirements
Caterpillar 349 excavators will experience significant axial forces, radial forces, and overturning moments during operations such as mining and large-scale earthmoving projects. It is necessary to calculate the various loads that the Caterpillar slewing bearing must withstand.
This includes determining the specific values of axial load, radial load, and overturning moment based on factors such as the weight of the excavator's working device, digging force, and off-center loading during operation. This ensures that the selected slewing bearing's load-bearing capacity is compatible with these loads.
Considering the working environment
If the Caterpillar 349 excavator operates in a dusty, humid, or corrosive environment, the slewing bearing must have excellent sealing and corrosion resistance.
For example, a double lip seal structure can effectively prevent dust and moisture from entering; selecting a slewing bearing with special surface treatments, such as cathodic electrophoretic coating, can enhance its corrosion resistance.

Determine the type and specifications
Based on the specific requirements of the Caterpillar 349 excavator, select the appropriate slewing bearing type, such as single-row ball bearing, cross-roller bearing, double-row ball bearing, or triple-row ball bearing.
At the same time, ensure that the inner and outer diameters, height, and gear module of the slewing bearing are compatible with the excavator's installation space and transmission system.
Easy to maintain
We offer a variety of transmission components
Uniform force distribution
The mounting surface is flattened, and the caterpillar slewing bearing fits tightly against the machine body, ensuring even stress distribution.
High compatibility
The grease has strong compatibility and can be adapted to a variety of conventional engineering machinery greases.
Easy to disassemble
It is easy to disassemble after long-term use and will not stick to the mounting surface due to rust.
Convenient to repair
The rollers can be replaced individually, eliminating the need to replace the entire slewing bearing and saving on maintenance costs.

F A Q
Q1: What are the causes of abnormal noise in Caterpillar slewing bearings?
A1: The following are possible causes: First, uneven mounting surface or loose mounting bolts. When the unevenness of the mounting surface does not meet the requirements, the raceway will form a negative clearance, resulting in abnormal noise. Loose mounting bolts will also cause elastic deformation of the slewing bearing, resulting in a negative clearance and abnormal noise. Second, there are foreign objects inside the slewing bearing, such as sand or iron filings, which will cause non-periodic vibration and be accompanied by inflexible rotation. Third, there are problems with the grease, such as insufficient grease in the raceway, uneven grease filling, poor quality grease, aging grease, or improper selection. Fourth, the sealing strip is damaged, affecting the sealing effect and causing abnormal noise. Fifth, there are cracks, indentations, or rust on the rolling surface. Sixth, the raceway and rolling elements are severely worn.
Q2: How to check for leakage in slewing bearings?
A2: First, check if the maintenance is correct, whether the grease replenishment cycle is between 150-250 hours, and whether the replenishment is too frequent; second, open the inspection cover of the rotary gear ring lubricating grease and check if the lubricating grease has become thinner, and determine whether the hydraulic oil or gear oil of the rotary motor has leaked into the cavity of the rotary gear ring; then check whether the original grease added to the equipment is correct, and whether the leakage is caused by the grease becoming thinner; next, carefully check along the rotary oil seal to see if there are any missing, loose, or damaged parts; then determine whether the grease leaking is from the bearing cavity or the rotary gear ring cavity, which can be determined by adding grease of different colors; finally, observe whether there are any abnormalities in the rotation of the equipment, such as abnormal noises or instability. If so, it may be that the bearing clearance is too large and uneven, causing oil to be squeezed out from the outer oil seal.
Q:3.If a bucket tooth shows localized wear (such as tip wear or side scratches) during use, does it need to be completely replaced? Can it be repaired?
A: If only minor tip wear occurs (without damage to the main tooth structure), professional grinding tools can be used to restore the sharpness of the cutting edge and extend its service life. If the wear depth exceeds 5mm (or there is chipping of the cutting edge or deformation of the main body), the entire tooth must be replaced to avoid uneven digging force transmission due to local structural damage, which may damage the bucket connection. It is recommended to inspect the tooth wear after each operation. When the wear reaches 1/3 of the total length (approximately 65mm), it is necessary to replace it promptly to ensure efficient operation.
Q:4.Does this penetrating tooth require adjustments when excavating different materials (e.g., soft soil, hard rock, concrete)? Are there any compatible accessories?
A: While the bucket tooth structure doesn't need to be adjusted for different materials, efficiency can be improved by optimizing excavator operating parameters. When excavating soft soil/loam, increase the excavation speed appropriately and utilize the low-profile design of the bucket teeth to reduce material residue. When excavating hard rock/concrete, it's recommended to first locate the entry point using the tip of the tooth, then apply digging force slowly to avoid direct impact of the cutting edge on the hard surface. For further improved hard rock crushing performance, use the original Caterpillar bucket tooth protector (compatible with the Advansys 110 size) to enhance the cutting edge's resistance to chipping and extend its service life.
