There are four main common reasons. First, the working environment contains massive dust and stone particles, which is a high-consumption scenario, so the maintenance cycle needs to be shortened. Second, the sealing gasket of the air filter housing is aging, the housing is deformed or the clips are loose, causing dust ingress through gaps. Third, the dust exhaust valve of the equipment is damaged or fallen off. It cannot automatically discharge pre-filtered dust, resulting in dust accumulation and filter clogging. Fourth, residual dust remains on the inner wall of the housing during installation without prior wiping, leading to secondary contamination. Checking and fixing these issues can effectively extend the service life of the filter element.

Replace the filter right away if any of the following occurs: the filter surface is torn, cracked or the filter media peels off; the sealing gasket is aged, cracked or deformed and loses sealing capacity; filtration performance drops significantly after repeated air blowing; the filter restriction indicator shows a red warning light; obvious engine power loss, abnormal fuel consumption and heavy black exhaust smoke appear; the filter gets damp, moldy, hardened and cannot breathe normally. Never operate the machine with a faulty filter to avoid irreversible engine wear.

Standard maintenance rule: replace the safety inner element once every two replacements of the primary filter. If the primary filter is damaged, leaking, heavily contaminated with dust, or the machine runs continuously under harsh working conditions, the safety inner element shall be replaced together with the primary filter to prevent residual fine dust from damaging the engine.
