The Hitachi 1200 Track Roller adopts grain-refined 50Mn alloy steel integral forging to eliminate internal defects. With tensile strength ≥980MPa and yield strength ≥785MPa, it withstands alternating heavy loads of 120-ton excavators in mining/earthwork conditions, preventing wheel deformation and fatigue cracking.
Controlled-Depth Induction Hardened Raceway
Raceway surface is high-frequency induction quenched, with 5-7mm hardened layer, surface hardness HRC 52-58 and core hardness HB 240-280, delivering "hard surface & tough core" properties.
Designed for 120-ton class equipment, it resists mining abrasive wear and delays raceway pitting and spalling failure.
High-Reliability Floating Seal System
Precision paired and lapped floating oil seals (Ra ≤0.2μm roughness, ≤0.02mm fitting clearance) paired with high-temperature resistant fluororubber O-rings deliver stable sealing performance across -40°C to 120°C.
This structure effectively isolates muddy water and dust, prevents grease leakage and contamination, and adapts to long-term wading and muddy operation scenarios of EX1200 excavators.
Precision-Fit Shaft & Bushing Assembly
Hitachi 1200 Track Roller features precision-ground shaft journals (Ra ≤0.8μm) paired with copper-based wear-resistant bushings. Controlled 0.03–0.05mm clearance forms a stable hydrodynamic lubricating film under heavy load, preventing adhesive wear and seizure.
It adapts to high-frequency traveling cycles of heavy-duty excavators, reducing rotational resistance and mechanical loss for long-term stable operation.
Production process
Integrated precision forging forming
Our Hitachi 1200 Track Roller adopts 50Mn high-quality alloy steel integral forging molding. The raw materials are subject to fixed-component metallurgical inspection and density detection to ensure uniform internal grain structure and no porosity defects. The material features high compressive strength and structural stability, adapting to the high-load abrasive working conditions of mining and large-scale earthwork, and meets the long-cycle operation structural strength standards of heavy-duty excavators.
CNC finishing and precise gear machining
The forged blank is processed by multi-axis CNC machine tools to complete the finishing of the roller body, shaft journal and sealing mating surfaces. Key dimensions are controlled within ±0.02mm tolerance, and the sealing surface roughness is processed to Ra ≤ 0.2μm. Precision machining ensures the coaxiality of all components and the matching accuracy of the floating seal assembly, laying the foundation for stable rotation and reliable sealing.
Multiple professional heat treatment processes
The Hitachi 1200 Track Roller undergoes a complete set of heat treatment processes including quenching, tempering and high-frequency induction hardening. The roller raceway is induction quenched with a controllable hardened layer depth of 5–7mm, achieving surface hardness of HRC 52–58 while maintaining the core hardness at HB 240–280. This balances wear resistance and impact toughness, effectively improving contact fatigue resistance under heavy loads and adapting to high-abrasion mining conditions.
Gradual inspection and full factory testing
Each roller goes through a full range of quality inspections before delivery, including dimensional verification, hardness testing, non-destructive flaw detection and seal performance testing. A simulated heavy-load operation test is also conducted to verify rotation flexibility, sealing reliability and load-bearing capacity. Only products passing all tests are shipped, ensuring stable performance and long service life in actual working conditions.
