Caterpillar has launched battery-driven mining trucks, engines and generator sets using biodiesel and biogas, and complete solutions for hydrogen-rich fuel power generation. These innovative products and solutions have been applied in mining, infrastructure and clean power generation, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
At the 2023 China International Import Expo(CIIE), Caterpillar exhibited a MWM brand gas generator set, which can use natural gas, biogas, coalbed methane and hydrogen (up to 25% hydrogen) and other types of fuels. The electric efficiency of this generator set is as high as 43.1%.
